Flash Vision is a customizable dashboard for real-time data visualization and streaming from multiple sources.

A dashboard is a visual display of the most important information needed to achieve one or more objectives consolidated and arranged on a single screen so the information can be monitored at a glance.

Flash Vision simplifies the visual representation of complex data and helps stakeholders understand, analyze, and present key insights. The core objective of a dashboard is to make complex information accessible and easy to digest.

Flash vision is currently installed in Milan-Bergamo Airport in order to vizualize people in queue, waiting times and immediately alert in case of overcrowded areas. A public simplified dashboard is also installed nearby bathrooms to inform people about the possibility to enter or not in the bathroom in order to avoid to overcrowd sensitive areas such as public bathrooms.

A case study: Real-time sensors data from an air quality monitoring system for indoor environments

For our demo, Flash Vision is communicating via TCP with a sensor installed at POINT, our operative headquarter in Bergamo (Italy).

Flash vision, hosted on our Aruba cluster, is receiving data from the sensor every 10 seconds. Data is streamed real-time using websockets to the browser. Moreover, a distributed database for statistical analysys and time queries is installed allowing user to explore data.

The sensor is monitoring temperature (°C), relative humidity (%), Volatile Organic Compounds (VoC), such as concentration of organic chemicals within air (dimensionless value between 0 and 5, where 0 stands for best and 5 stands for worst), and concentration of particulate matter (PM) with a diameter between 2.5 um and 10 um (PM2.5 - PM10) (ug/m3).
